The Community of Crestline is what is known as a CDP also known as a Census Designated Place. This means that the community of Crestline has no government of its own it is simply a smaller part of another area. According to the most recent census conducted in 2010, the population of Crestline has increased to 10,770 people. This is an increase from 2000 of over 550 people. Now, this may not seem like a huge increase in the area when you compare to other cities in the Los Angeles, San Bernardino Area however Crestline only has 4000 households, so an increase of 550 people in 10 years is quite impressive.
Over 2700 families call this area home. One more interesting facts about the Crestline area is that a large portion of the community itself is located within the San Bernardino National Forest. This is one of the reasons for the area to have such a small population. Much of the area cannot be used for homes or businesses.
